SVR4---Where are those red shoes?

Last week I had my 4 wk post EOT study visit.  I was told I'd know the PCR result "by next Friday."  This morning I received a call from the study coordinator....UND!!!  

This is such exciting news, esp as I'm geno 1b and tx'ed for 24 wks!  Also, as many of you know, this is the first time I've known a PCR result since I began tx in October.  It's been hard to wait but this is sure worth it!!  I asked the PA, "Isn't it true that, if UND at 4 wks post EOT, I have a 90% chance of SVR?"  She replied, "We don't have that data for Telaprevir yet."  Even so, I've read those stats on this forum, and that's what I'm choosing to believe.  

This community has meant the world to me while on tx, and I appreciate you all so much.  I'll also have PCR's at 12 wks and 24 wks, I think every 12 wks through the first year post-tx, so I'll keep you updated.  Again, thanks to all for your support, knowledge, compassion, humor, and just for being there.

I have been waiting for this post.  What really makes this so great is you did Telaprevir for 8 weeks, so it looks like maybe they can shorten tx time with Tela.  Thats one rough medicine and the shorter time will be fantastic. Plus maybe the hgb won't drop so much with shorter time.  

I am so happy for you, and don't know how you did 6 months without knowing.  Would have drove me bonkers.

Thank you so so much for your comments.  I need to do what someone else did and copy them all for my SVR card.  : )  It means a lot to have your support.  In fact, I knew that even if I did not get the result I'd hoped for I could come here and you folks, more than anyone else in my world, would truly understand.  So, thanks for that level of support, it is uncommon.

To Rocker, Fl_Gator, and Isobella, thanks for the happy dance videos.  OMG, they were such fun.  I don't always go to the UTube posts but I can see I'm missing a lot.

Gator, the Snoopy cartoon was sweeeeet.  
Rocker, I could not believe that bird, how did he do those things with his neck, that was unbelievable!!  And he had such rhythm!
