I know you were just worried about risk factors. I think you're ok.
i know it was rude for me to ask...i really reget that now...truly sorry to all.
i'm not a bad guy...just worried about a possible exposure...i'll never ask that again...
thanks alagirl
you have to have blood to blood contact. It CANNOT be transmitted by bodily fluids. You don't need a viral load. An antibody test is sufficient. If you are three months out I wouldn't worry about it, particularly since it appears there was no blood to blood contact. I have never seen anyone on this board who got hepc from consensual sexual intercourse or activity.
ps its not polite to ask people how they got hepc - just a tip
wow, i can't say i ever heard a year. i'd like to think 6 mos is conclusive. would a viral load test help give closure? i understand that this can should be positive within a 2-3 wks from exposure. if no antibodies and no viral load = negative, right?
sexual transmission is rare and give yourself 6 months to a year to see
if you have it.
