Shoulder pain from boipsy

I woke up to find that the back of my right shoulder just hurts like hell!  That sucks!  I took an Ibuprophen and hope that helps.  That's wierd though how that happens.  Anyone ever experience that?

Talk to your doctor. After my biopsy my shoulder hurt too. My doctor said it was because of bleeding in my liver due to the biopsy.
Let him know about your pain ASAP.

After my biopsy I did have shoulder pain so I guess it's quite common after biopsy.  The botton line is, if the pain is severe you should call the physician who did your biopsy.

Hi Bill. That right shoulder pain is known as 'referred pain', and is a classic example. It should subside in a day or two. I'm gald to hear the biopsy went well; mine hurt like the dickens, but only for a moment. The important part of biopsy is the results; I wish you well,

Bill
