You just described me.
My skin is dry also. Scaled crusty lesion feeling things on my scalp in different places and shoulders near my clavicles on both sides. GOD! I wish I could go to freaking sleep.

regarding my teeth - i feel like my mouth is dry even when I'm brushing my teeth. It's hard to explain.
No oil here either. I keep myself hydrated all day long and lubed up every morning & night. I've been using olive oil on my hair & scalp 15 min prior to shampooing. The crocodile skin is starting to subside at 32 wks. I've been using Curel it seems to keep my skin coated all day.
i meant i CANNOT sleep WITHOUT the nite guard in
I have skin like a crocodile, too. I still had the oily T zones pre Tx, but that has mostly dryed up. I think I'm starting to get the "llama lashes", too, but with the big, dark circles under my eyes. it's not a good look.
i cannot sleep with a nite gaurd or my partial plate in my mouth at nite on TX....ive NEVER had dry mouth like this ever....now i know why some lose the pearly whites
I just took some before and after pics of my water distiller tank....if i post these pics....it may cause people to throw up some cookies
If you want smooth sexy soft skin that is moisturized,do the VCO...every morning i eat one teaspoon and one inthe evening....i aslo slather it all over my body...i can slide right under your door
I do the washcloth trick twice a day but I use warm washcloth cuz it seems to cut down on the swelling around my eyes too. I suppose cool or warm depending on what works for each...but it does help.
I saw my eye dr for a yearly checkup during the time I was txing. I informed him of my new meds and having anemia. I told him I did not want a prescription for new glasses or contacts, but just an eye exam to make sure my eyes were doing okay d/t the tx drugs.
During the exam, I heard him say something in his dictation about my eyelids so I told him that they were crusty in the morning, with "sleep" in them, which was not usual for me. He said the oil glands along the eyelids were drier than normal and the secretion was viscous or thickened. He suggested I use a clean washcloth and wash my eyelids before bed, wiping from inner to outer, with just cool water. I did this and it actually made a difference, my eyes were more clear in the mornings.
Let me know if you try it and it helps.

No oil on my skin...but I could use some. My face, scalp and eyes are as dry as the Sahara Desert. My ear lobes actually get so dry they start to crack and weep so I have to keep myself lubed up all day and all night. My scalp, like Charm's, is horribly dry and flaky too. I use eye ointment in my eyes at bedtime (for severely dry eyes) and even with that my eyes are rough and scratchy in the morning.
All this dryness occurs even after drinking over a gallon of H20 every day.
i wish i would get some oil in my skin, but i am also like an alligator no matter how much water i consume, or how much moisterizers i put on, guess it's gonna be like this until march 2010.
they tried to sell me as a purse or shoes when I was txing. But no one would buy me!

Sounds like your turning into the Incredible Hulk
Dont be turning green on us!
Hey dont feel bad my eyelashes got to be an inch long on tx
and my eyebrows fell off- I looked like a llama on chemo!!
my pillow is fume free....its the best pillow on the plant...the galaxy
LOL.....now ya gots me thinkn...the pillow is absorbing the TX drugs from my face ..if i run low on drugs i can smoke my pillow
Your new pillow is secreting dangerous effluents and fumes.
Maybe we can turn you into an alligator purse....and use you cement head to for a pile driving construction job?
:)
Darn. Keep hitting the return to forum button instead of the post comment button. No oil problems, not enough moisture in spite of copious water intake. I could have gone a month without washing hair of face but didn't want to offend husband. Eyes though: Mine were so dry when I got out of bed that eyelids stuck to them and I had to blink 50 times just to get them to stop sticking.
No quite the opposite...my face was so dry plus I had plaque in my scalp and thensome...I was literally like an alligator...( Ihad literally one inch of plaque as hard and thick like cement in my scalp..
I was all wrinkled up from the dry skin....
We are all so different,,,but that is odd.
Take good care
