Forgot to add, I also have gone with the philosophy of "less is better" since I started having sensitive skin/rosacea problems.

I have been diagnosed with sensitive skin and rosacea. It has been quite a challenge having both of these diagnoses. My skin tends to react to many things, including wind, sun, cold, heat, medications, etc., and when it reacts it becomes inflamed, red, and painful (stinging, burning). My dermatologist recommended several skin care products for me. One that she recommended was Cetaphil. I use Dermalogica. Dermalogica has a sensitive skin line of products that has been helpful to me. I use all of the products in that line. I'm sure there are other sensitive skin products as well.

A serious, all natural product that seems to work with the body is Dr. Hauschka. It is not cheap but the philosophy is very different as "less is more" thus a little goes a long way!
I had a tiny tear duct scar as an infant, started using Dr.H around 25 yrs old. The scar disappeared after 6 weeks of use.
Dr. Hauschka has a web site which is good to read up on the products and philosophy but if interested I have found a great shop that usually has Dr.H and other products at really good prices.
We shall see what kind of skin I wear when I am finished with all of this. Inside out on your shirts is a good one. Did the seams bother you too? I live in bamboo apparel. The softest!
Although I did SOC, I had to switch my lotion and soap to oatmeal based ones.
My skin is not sensitive normally.
Tags on shirts drove me nuts, I cut them out or wore them inside out.
Silk is great as is soft cotton.
Like you I had no skin problems. I found my needs changed throughout tx. I've always been natural. More so now. Hope this helps.
Blisters on face are troublesome. Let me know if you find a gentle sunscreen.

Great answer. I will keep digging on this but as you say, sort of, I will see what works and what does not , at least for today. Thank you
I'm not entirely certain what your question is however I can only say I *wish* it didn't matter what we put on our skin topically and only mattered what we ingest however there is no way to predict either and it is quite often both.
Having said that, I have had a few irritations here and there and while I can't exfoliate as often because my skin is not exactly as resilient; there is no way I could ever not exfoliate. Or use my own version of concoctions that have kept my skin incredible over the years. At 12 weeks of treatment it is so weird not having the energy to do perform may daily & weekly skin rituals.Still, the minor aspects of my skin care regimen I have maintained are soothing and therapeutic for me and have not back fired. But like I said: I have been keeping things very simple.
Anyway, back to you: the further many of us progress in treatment, many of us discover the freakiest or unsuspecting activity or product can cause serious skin irritation. There really are no hard and fast rules but I would read everyone's suggestions of their daily hygiene since there is a lot to learn from other people's experiences.
