Sorry

by pjhep80, Jul 06, 2007 12:00AM
i started something here i guess haha

ok the reason my post disappeared was because i posted a url, i understand sorry about that...

i am not trying to sell anything, just wondering about alternative treatments besides milk thistle... i was on interfuron & virimadine for 6 months and have been off tx for over a year and in the interim i lost 4 teeth and have gastro problems i never had before and according to the trial people it didnt work so im not going to treat again unless they come up with something better or unless i get sicker... i had a biop 3.5 years ago and they told me i was stage 2/grade 2, and a bunch of ultrasounds show no inflammation... i feel ok so i guess i am ok haha yea rite

the link i posted was for LV-52, the mfg posted all these trials and have supposedly been around since 1930...

i know im grasping at straws lol

I didn't get to see the URL, wish that I did, as I like to be kept informed about everything that is out there.  We all know there are scams out there to get us to buy their product, but we as individuals should be able to have the choice whether or not we believe it or not.
I am a relapser, did the tx in 2004, geno 3, fibrosis 2 (was 3 b4 tx).  I now find that I am searching for alternative therapy in supplements etc, to help maintain my liver and my all over health.  I suffer from fatigue, fibromyalgia, depression and anxiety.  I have cognitive problems which are post tx effects from the interferon.
Maintaining our health is important, we have the right to know what is out there, and no one should be able to stop us finding that information and sharing it with others, at the end of the day, it is our choice whether we take supplements or herbs etc, not anyone elses.

Hi there, cognitive problems are in relation to the brain, I cannot think properly, I get confused, and forget a lot of things, memory is a big issue.  Retaining information is extremely difficult, I do a lot of reading and research and find it hard to remember what I have read and retaining that information. (LOL) ridiculous isn't it.
My level of concentration has diminished, and my thoughts tend to go wandering.

hippy, have you tried Ginkobaloba?

i am all about vitamins, organic foods, and herbs, i think alot of the reason people are sick is because of their eating habits and many, if not all, drugs have horrible side effects that just create more problems...

it seems to me that hep-c is one disease that really can be controlled with alternative treatments ... not cured, but controlled... there are so many herbs out there that are beneficial to the liver
