Stomach pain and nausea

by rickeeee, Jun 12, 2007 12:00AM
I met a girl about 8 weeks ago who performed oral sex on me for a short time,i did not ejeculate.
About 2 days after meeting her i developed a discomfort in my urethra and my stomach began gurgling.
The syptoms (symptoms) continued for about a week then i went to my doctor who gave me Doxcillian for a week.
The urethra problem cleared up but my stomach problem didnt.
I began feeling nausea daily after a couple of weeks and my stomach was gurgling constantley from day 2 after exsposure.
Anyway i am now in my 7th week of discomfort and now pain in my stomach and my syptoms (symptoms) get better for a few days then come back worse again.
I have had blood tests at two weeks after my encounter with this girl and my liver function was normal.
After 5 weeks my doctor did a complete hepatitas panel and a HIV test and everything came back normal.
I would like to know 2 things if any one can answer them.

1.-Can a male catch hepatitas by having only oral sex performed on you and how likeley is it.

2.Do symtoms usually start as early as 2 days after exsposure and are they like mine.

I contacted the national liver foundation and they tell me i cannot catch hepatitas through having oral sex performed on me but i read other articles that say you can so i am confused.
Also my symtoms are Daily nausea, stomach aches and cramps in the center of my stomach, muscle and joint aches, lightheaded, poor apetite, and my stool has changed from typically hard daily  to very soft daily, not light in appearance.

Any helpfull answers would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I don't think a guy can catch hep c from receiving oral sex unless there are sores on his penis and sores in the girls mouth.

A person who catches hep c may experience mild flu like symptoms immediately after exposure.  Your symptoms are not flu symptoms.

Maybe you need to see a gastro about your stomach issues.

Hcv is NOT considered a Std.  Sexual transmission is rare and even more so female to male.  Sexual transmission is more likely to be male to female.

Hep B is a Std and oral sex is a method of transmission.  I am not a doctor, but B is more likely a problem in this instance than C.  Probably, you are at low risk for B and no risk for C but use condoms for safety.

Sounds like a STD.
