Strattera and the Liver When You Have HepC

On Friday, my psychiatrist prescribed Strattera, when I shared with him that I beleive I have ADD.

The ADD was a surprise to me--but after reading through a book an "ADD Friend" shared with me, I'm realizing that in all likelihood my "depression" is more likely the result of how stress interacts with my ADD.

I took the first dosage on Saturday, and am noticing positive results.

This coincides with my slow reduction of my Effexor dosage (I'd been at 225mg from mid-2006 until Dec 1 2009; I was plagued by apathy and lethargy and forgetfullness and other stuff, so I decided to try and wean myself off of Effexor (after clearining it with my psychiatrist, I must add).

Having brought my Effexor down by 12-15mg/@ 2 weeks, now I'm at about 135mg--but I still had significant lethargy, apathy, forgetfullness, etc.

MY QUESTION:  Has anyone else with HepC taken Strattera?  I read that in rare circumstances it will mess with your liver.  My psych is aware of my HepC issues.  But I wanted to check in with those on this forum to see what they have experienced or heard.

Thank you for your help.
