Sudden drop in platelets.

Hey, I'm in wk 32, my plts have been running between 90 & 120 thru out tx. This wks CBC came back w/ 63. Does this really mean anything? Pre tx they ran 120-150. jerry

Yeah, the halving would have worried me earlier, but now I see them go to fifty, ninety, and back to fifty with nothing in between. No sixties, seventies or eighties for me!

My ANC is so good lately (without neup) that I'm getting paranoid my interferon is a dud. It's almost up to normal. It bounced, mostly between .5 and 1. Had access to neup but never took it and now it's up to 1.something, just shy of normal.

The hard part is spotting what's significant and that's highly variable.

bi-weekly from the start. My wbc &anc were so good 2 wks ago I skiped my nuep shot last week. wbc&anc tanked, again(we tried skipping my shot a couple of months ago. guess I'm stuck w/ neup shots till the end) The neup does not effect plts I undersand. It is the sudden 1/2ing of plts that caught my attention. jerry

Mine have been down to 50 and my NP didn't give a darn.

I go up and down with them, between fifty and ninety. Like my ANC's, they fluctuate from one week to the next but never trend down, only bounce.

Are you getting weekly blood-draws? I did for the first 24 weeks but now just do bi-weekly ones.
