Sunken Eyes

I was just wondering if anyone that did the trial sofosbuvir and gs-158 that reached svr had any issues with weight loss and very sunken eyes. My weight has pretty much regulated to around 157 which means I lost close to 40 pounds. And my eyes have sunken in extreme amount. I had one person say maybe I should get my thyroid checked. I am pleased with the weight lost just odd that I eat way more then I did before reaching svr.
Also wanted to let everyone know since I had all the procedures done on my back I am somewhat more active. I can actually stand on my toes again and walk normal instead of flat footed. It been at least 10 yrs since I could do that. I can even wiggle toes again. Again just a bit worried about how sunken in my eyes are now, I can't even put eyeshadow on like I use to from this. Any info or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

My husband was in the trial with Sofosbuvir and GS-5816 and is undetected at 4 weeks end of treatment, and he has not lost any weight.   I agree that you should follow up with your doctor, and talk with the trial doctor about this.

Gonna make apt with my Dr.. Don't see how it can be dehydration I drink quite a bit of water everyday. My father drilled it into us as we grew up. Just hoping nothing serious I have so many different things with me now , really don't need anything else.

Dontworry is right!   You need a follow up with your Doc.  Could be Thyroid, but a 40 lb loss when your eating normally is significant.  Hep C is synonymous with Auto Immune Disorders.  Best to find out for sure.

I don't think it has to do with Hepatitis C treatment.  It could have triggered what is happening now.   You lost 40 lbs and eating more than before you lost the weight.   She your doctor.  It's not normal.    Sunken eyes and weight loss
could be your body isn't absorbing nutrients.   Sure it might be your thyroid.
One thing for sure only a doctor can tell you what's wrong.   Dehydration and malnutrition has these symptoms.   Some reason your not getting what you need from what your eating.
