Does anyone know how to go about meeting someone in your own community dealing with Hep C? I just don't know if I can go through this alone... I have a wonderful husband but he won't completely understand what I am dealing with.

Ask your doctor if there is a support group in your area.

Some people on the board organize lunches and other get togethers. There are a number of people on the board that live in California, so perhaps you can meet one of them.

I know Sutter Healthcare Hospitals in Northern CA have a support group, if you're near any of their centers they may have one near you. Other than that Kaiser should at least know where you can hook up with a support group. God Bless
