With some people, there are no symptoms. With others, they can have fatigue, jaundice (yellow skin & eyes), swollen liver, ect. Other people could elaborate. The only way to know if you or someone else has it is a blood test. If you think you may have been exposed, defininitely get tested if you can. Eww, I sound like an after school special. Personally, I had no symptoms from the disease.
Here is a website :http://janis7hepc.com/ that has a lot of info about HCV. Somewhere, there is a link that takes you to signs and symptoms.
I never had ANY symptoms AT ALL and I found out last August ('05) that I've had this for over 25 years. That is why it is a silent killer...I only found out by accident and am already Stage 3. Lucky for me I found out!
I started having extreme bouts of depression in 2000. I had gone back to college and I thought it was stress. I would just get really sad and start crying over nothing. I would get mad at myself for feeling that way because I had so many things to be thankful for. On top of that, I had and still have muscle pain in the top part of my back and neck. Anyway, I went to a shrink, and he diagnosed me with ADHD and treated me with Adderall. That made the muslce pain worse. Anyway, I think when people have symptoms of depression, weird muslce aches, fatigue..A Hep C test should be done.
Speaking of the liver. I heard that rebounding is good for the liver as in trampoline jumping. ever hear of that one?
