Its been several weeks since you last posted.  How are you doing?  Hope all is well.

Got the word this week that screening for the induction-dosing study starts in late June. As mentioned earlier, I'm stage 3 (early), grade 3, 55 yo, geno 1b.  Would love to wait for Telepravir, but its time to treat.

Incidentally, heard that Vertex may do another trial of Telepravir with Peg and Copeg on geno 1's in the fourth quarter -results from previous geno 1 trials continue show very robust results with some sides.

Hey r4, glad to hear you are going through with the induction-dosing trial.  I think/hope you will find great success in it.

I'm doing very well, thanks for asking.  Since after that two week bout of anxiety attacks I actually feel great, no real obvious sx other than a little sluggish in the mornings.  

I've been working like a dog starting my own carpentry biz, working on forcing myself to eat decent and frequent meals, (which I believe is not only important off tx but it has helped me tremendously during tx), and working on the mental side of myself.  Some days I can feel the depression trying to grab ahold but I do my best to shake it and keep on the positive side of life, read books, talk to friends and my shrink and keep busy at work.  So far it seems to be working.

Went to the doc's last Wednesday for my 12 wk blood draw.  At wk 8 I was down to 85 IU/mL from 22 million IU/mL so I'm a hopin' and a prayin' for UND this time.  I'll post next week when I get the results.

talking with my doc he said most folks taking part in this study under his care are responding extremely well so I am excited for you and looking forward to hearing reports of serious log drops from you.
