Hiya Chevygal and the rest of you lovely lot - well - guess I am a fully fledged 'member of the club' now - pumped full of interferon and ribavirin!!!
Thank you Chevygal for your good wishes and encouragement on the 18th - your posting meant a great deal to me. I hope you are doing well and not having too many side effects. I didn't pass out you will be glad to know - felt very faint just after I injected - NOTHING to do with the interferon - all down to me being a nervous wreck - I got myself in such a state!!! Hope everybody is having a good weekend.

See?? The anticipation is almost ALWAYS much worse than the reality with this stuff. You have to wait for a few days to see what may happen....but I can guarantee that you will NOT turn into a Badger or Alien or anything like that.
The LOO??  WOW   I haven't heard that term for awhile. Why do some call it that anyways? It that short for something? I must do research on this.
So you had to pee in a bedpan? Better that than a cathader. Those are NOT fun....especially for Guys!! We do NOT like those things. Ruins our whole sex life for weeks......unless the Nurse is a hottie.
Welcome to the "Club". I hope that you do well. Keep us posted. This place is open for business....24/7.

French l'eau, water; the bordalou, a portable commode, resembling a sauce-boat and carried by 18C ladies in their muff; SE leeward, the side of a ship turned away from the wind and as such the side over which one would urinate/defecate; an abbr./pun on Waterloo, whether the station or the battle it commemorates.
They also sayed the british use the word mostly.
Put Peeing is Peeing LOO/Toilet/Can/nearest tree/

by Indiana, Mar 20, 2004 12:00AM
Ok......I get the don't pee into the wind part. But carried by ladies in their "muff"???? What the heck is THAT? I am SO glad I am NOT a lady right now. I used to call myself a "muff diver" but I think that now I may have to re-think that statement. Sounds kinda dangerous after reading this post.
I think Chevy needs to clear this up for me.

by litecloud, Mar 20, 2004 12:00AM

Hello again: My computer was kaput for a few days there. Just did shot #2 on Friday. Tired a lot, but work is going pretty well. Here's hoping that everyone is kicking some serious dragon butt!!!

My white blood cells went from @10 to below 5...Is this bad?

TIA

Pete

Thanks, Chevy! I get another blood test tomorrow, so, we'll see if its stable. Feeling nauseous today, but not bad enough to actually puke. So, that's good! I always can't wait to finish work so I can go home and veg. Eating a lot less, too. However, things are bearable....I hope everyone is feeling at least that good!
