Thyroid § treatment

by Le Rae, Oct 21, 2002 12:00AM
Hi,  I just heard from my Dr that the last blood test I had on Oct 9 showed that my thyroid is not funtioning properly. It is showing hyperthyroidism.  She will retest on Nov 6th.

Tonight I take #40 out of 48.  Was undetectable at wk 25. (reads down to 500 copies).  If thyroid doesnt go back to normal by next test she will have to take me off tx with only 4 left at that time.  I am 1b and am very concerned about the relapse rate of 1b's.  Does anyone know if there is any thing I can do between now and then to help with the thyroid situation to keep from having to stop tx so close to the end??

I am trying not to worry but that is easier said than done.

Thanks for any info you might be able to give me.

God Bless every one and your families
Le Rae
