I am ment to start a clinical trial soon that involves not previously treated hep.c 1 patients.My appointment was canceled for tomorrow as office has not recieved the trial paperwork yet.The trail is called new Lawitz Induction. I have looked on clinicaltrials.gov and could not find any info.I have the basic information such as higher dose of standard combo treatment for the first 12 weeks & then usual dose for the remainder of the year. The idea is to jump start us hep.1 people. GI.PA & all, has anyone come across detailed information on this trial? I liked the sound of starting out more aggressivly with the hopes of going through this only one time. There are no sugar pills involved. Signed: to much time to stew, Terriri

I am also waiting for the paperwork from UVA, but they told me there was no name for the drug.
