Wow!! My hat is off to you! It shouldn't be any different than being a regular person who is not on tx. My guess is that you're doing well on tx and you're not having too many side effects. Just make sure you're not having diarrhea on that day and if you do you may want to wear something that will take care of that issue. lol
Goid luck on the jump
I am afraid of ferris wheels barely make it on the teacups at Disney
You are a brave girl!
Xoxoxoxo
Yes, skydiving, but not on tx. It was years ago, I did 5 static line jumps and one free fall. My experience was similar to Toby's, a short class and then drive to the drop zone, get in that tiny plane with all kinds of gear on, and you're off!!! It is pretty amazing. And you are one tough lady, to do this on tx!!! Hope you have a blast, will look forward to hearing about it.

Sorry I mangled the shorthanded version of your name pretty good there.........I think the skydiving concept freaked me out for a minute!
Cirq I would have had a heart attack, but it would have nothing to do with treatment I'm a scardy cat.
I think if you feel up for it you go for it. Sounds awesome (if you arent a chicken like me ;)
So good to see you here on the forum, been thinking about you. We finish treatment the same day! Good luck on your jump, it will be something to remember, I am sure. Let us know you landed on your feet!!

You're amazing! Way to go! Karen
Yes!!! And it is absolutely a blast. Just don't throw up on your tandem guy - I hear they are not particularly fond of that. - lol
That's awesome, March is right around the corner and we'll be routing you on to your finish line :)
Neupogen did make my bones ache also, it was a deep bone pain for me, but not constant. Procrit didn't trigger migraines for me but I do have them with a different trigger, wasn't the tx meds, and still have them, been off to for a few years.
Now white water rafting is something I can relate to, use to do that in Colorado, level 3/4 rapids, still having lotsa fun on and in the water, but I do admire you for getting excited and going on that jump! Woohoo!
Yeah, I'm pretty pumped, but also super nervous! HA!
My Hgb is stable, low but stable, the Procrit gave me a 3 day migrane, so I reduced my ribavirin to 800 mg / day. I do use neupogen once a week now though, if I get a paper cut or anything, it seems to take weeks to heal (good thing they have neupogen! :)... It does make my bones ache even worse though, but whatevs!
I will be have completed TX on March 30th! Then, I think I am gonna celebrate and go white water rafting!
It sounds like an absolute blast and if feeling ok, I'd definately go for it. I'm sure they'll hook you up with someone experienced, and maybe cute too, haha. Enjoy and report back.
Hi, It's great hearing you're feeling good enough to go jump :)
So HgB is holding pretty good these days for you? When do you finish tx?
What an exciting B day gift, have fun on Feb 2nd!
Great Gift. Sky diving is a kick as* thing to do.Enjoy the day and put everything else on back burner. Like what you've just done in Treating its a mental issue, not a lot of physicality in jumping. Its been quite awhile since I did it, don't know if things have changed but the few times I jumped you had a short class and then jumped solo on a static line.Have fun.
This **** is going to be CRAZY!!!! I'll check in for sure! :)
Ha...personally never have taken a flight just to jump out of the thing ..but sounds like a blast.
Have fun..but make sure you check in here after so we know you landed softly.. :0)
