goof; I can't find the thread where you mentioned a contradictory sounding comment compared to a more recent one, and I realized this morning where you got that impression, but It was going to take too long to explain, so basically, I see where you got that thought, and no, It was not contradicting, because the basic point in all was that, we need a broad datatbase where it is entered whether a person had adverse effects v adverse events. Most folks report one or more of the former, but less than 1 % report the latter.
I am going to quit here, because it is getting confusing to explain, and basically, I know what you were trying to say with your comment.
;-}
I am sure that this happens all the time with people who are diabetic carrying syringes and meds.
As long as they are clearly marked with your name and stuff I am sure you would be fine but - if it makes you feel better make sure you get a note from your doctor or something.
Just make sure you pack them carefully so that they stay COLD but do not FREEZE. That is REALLY important you know?
I just carry them when traveling and no problems with security but I haven't done any international since starting treatment. My drugs are clearly marked with my name and I have my ID so I can't see them causing you a problem unless your carrying finger nail clippers. I think you will be fine with what you have. Have a great vacation. Dale
Hi,
I live in Florida and treat in New York and fly every few weeks. I had no problem, I had a note from Dr. and ID card from drug co. explaining what I was carrying on board. I used a small carry-on from drug co. with ice packs for meds. I have flown 6 times since starting tx.
Hope this helps,
Beagle
You should have no problem. I traveled from new york state to cancun Mexico twice while on tx. I brought all necessary paper work but was never asked for it. I would do it as a carry on just to be sure you get it there
Thanks for your input...Sounds like I have all the Documentation I need, I sure I should'nt have a problem
Thanks to all
I've traveled frequently with my drugs and syringes. I put a copy of the prescriptions in the cooler bag and have never had a problem.
