Treatment side effects

I am planning to start treatment next month, my genotype is 3a.
I wold like to ask that, does every body experiences side effects?
are those always worse?

I tried to find this questoon but could not so I am sorry, if some one already asked this quesiton.

Hi there...no need to be sorry about the question. I t is probably the number one  question asked when someone is just starting treatment.

Unfortunately there is no sure fire definitive answer.E veryone seems to be somewhat different when it comes to what side effects they will experience.  there are many people here that experience very few and mild effects, and others more severe. It is really hard to know until you start
I would say tho  that most people find that for the most part the effects are very manageable and that the fear of them when starting is worse than the reality

Thanks a lot Will for your reply. it gave me a lot of strength. i would also like to know about the work? Howmuch the treatment affects the work? Can we continue to work as normal? I know it varies from person to person but just asking on average basis.

As far as working during treatment, it will depend on a lot of things; such as the type of job you have (physical vs sedentary), how flexible your work schedule is, whether your job entails working in a hot environment...lots of things make a difference...and, most of all, how well your body tolerates the treatment meds.

I went through 48 weeks of treatment and I worked all through it.  I'm mid 50's, have a job that I was able to do without much physical exertion and I have been employed here for over 30 years which gave me a lot of flexibility in my time off - if I needed a day here and there.

A lot of people work through treatment and some can't.  If you're the type of person that is driven and determined to go to work; I suspect you will accomplish it.  :)
