Treatment

by pmitchell, Apr 03, 2008 04:12PM
I was going through treatment and responding well (no signs of virus) and had to get off due to an injury.  Return to treatment and responded well for 12 weeks.  I was having sever allergey issues and was given allergy meds along with prednazone (sp?).  When I went back for my 24 week check up I had spiked.  My doctor made the decision to take me off treatment.  I truly believe my treatment would have worked if I had not been on the pred.  My doctor even advised me that she could not be positive that the pred and allergy meds did not cause the spike but took me off treatment.  I am an active very soon to be 50 years of age.  I would like to try treatment again! What do you think.
