Triumph over hep c???

There was a commercial on a local radio show advertising a book called "Triumph over hepatitis C" by Llyod Wright.  Apparently the author feels that medicines like interferon are pushed by drug companies to make money and that there are natural alternatives to treating hep c (herbs, diet, etc). Has anyone heard of it or had positive results trying to heal hep c with herbs and a controlled diet?  
I noticed that Naomi Judd also wrote a book about healing Hep c naturally but I'm pretty sure I saw her in an interview where she said that she had been treated with interferon.
Just wondering what other people's experiences have been and whether this book falls into the b.s. category or can't hurt to try.
