UNCONTROLLED MUSCLE MOVEMENTS

Hello to all and I hope all is well..  

On week 14 of tx was dignosed with HCV Nov 27,2007 after donating blood for the red cross.
1a,minimal liver damage on 48  weeks tx.  Taking Riba 1200 a day and Pegasys inj 180 mcg
once a week.  
My question; Has anyone had uncontrolled muscle movements(eg,arm or leg, twitching of the
face, jerking or twisting; unusual sweating.  I'm so scared the doctor says its the meds but I don't
know.....   Symptoms come and go but at night when I relax the twitching gets worse....

Any Advise?

Are you taking an A/D? Sometimes an A/D can cause that. If sp contact your doctor , especially if you just starting take one within a month or so.

Yes I'm taking AD but for many years now Effexor xr 300 mg.

When I began tx for the first time, 5 yrs ago I experienced what I call restless legs syndrome at night.  First of all, I could not sleep at all at night and I had this feeling that I was going to have an uncontrolled kick happen at any moment.  It was so bad that I tossed and turned all night and had to sleep on the floor because of all of this.

I haven't experienced that this time around.

Back then I was on a A/D (Zoloft) and this time I am not.

I would question all the drugs your taking and the interactions with the doctor. Or call up Walgreens for example and ask them if the drugs your taking can be taken together.

They will tell you no problem.
