UND or not UND

I usually resolve things in my head and let it go.  Don't fret about alot of stuff.  However, Wednesday my fever got up to 102 and and has hung around 100 since Thursday.  No other symptoms so I just thought it was tx.  Well, developed a sore throat and cough Friday so I've either got a bug from the grandboy or might even be strep.  If I don't perk up by Monday, I'll go to the doc.  I've got my 24 wk PCR on Thursday.  If I cleared sometime after 12 wks, an illness or antibotics is not going to cause a viral breakthough right?  Either I'm UND or I'm not?  Is that the correct way to approach this?

That's right.  A sore throat is not going to change anything.  

Make sure you drink lots of fluids!

I was on antibiotics for a sore throat early during treatment, but I still managed to become UND by about week 5.  CoWriters correct, you'll need lots of extra fluids.

Correct. And in fact -- only anecdotal mind you -- those that seem to get the sickest on treatment, often are seem to be the ones who SVR more often. Feel better soon!

I would not worry too much about the antibiotics if needed. I carried a sore throat and bouts of fever through out most of my treatment and had 8 lung and bronchitis infections and had been on 4 different types of antibiotics during that time and am still undetected, like above, water, water everywhere.
