Sorry, those results aren't yours.  Maybe it's not okay with your father to look at them.  Did you ask him?

The only thing I'll say is that those are not urine results.

First of all, normal values may vary slightly from lab to lab.  Next to the results, it should have an "H" if the result is considered "High".  So check that.

Remember that sometimes, taking certain medications like cholesterol medications can cause elevated liver function test results.  That's why the doctor orders the test in the first place, to see if the meds are not hurting the liver.

Many people have mild or moderate chronic kidney damage (especially diabetics) but one test may not mean much.  Sometimes an assesment is better made by comparing test results to see if they got better or worse.

What I mean to say is that you can't freak out over one isolated test because there are many things that need to be considered....like the patient's age, their previous/current medical problems, what medications they're taking, whether they drink alcohol, etc.

The UREA and CREATININE check kidney function to see if the kidneys are filtering like they should.

Urea 61  (Normal 7-25)

Creat 1.7  (Normal 0.7 to 1.2 )

Both of them are elevated but besides kidney problems other things can cause elevations...and it could be something as simple as dehydration.

The rest of the tests check liver function.

Bilirubin .....Normal

SGPT...ALT 20  (Normal 4-36)....an enzyme mainly found in the liver; the best test for detecting hepatitis.   His test is normal.

Alkaline phosphatase 229  (Normal 30-126) So his result is elevated.  This is a test done to check for liver disease.  Besides liver disease, high results can also be caused by gallstones, bone diseases such as arthritis, or heart problems.

GGT 66  (Normal 0-51)   Result is slightly elevated.   High levels of GGT are present when the liver is damaged but not present with bone disease. A high level of GGT may also be caused by the use of certain medications.

Sodium, Potassiun, Chloride and Bicarb, which are electrolytes are all normal.  So this means he wasn't dehydrated.
