VL going down before treatment

Hello.  My VL in July (just diagnosed) was 250,000 and was told I had chronic HCV...probably got it in the 80's.  I just had my VL tested again and this time my count was 75,050....what does this mean?  Is this normal...I have not started treatment yet.  Was supposed to have started the triple therapy last week, but had some issues and had to wait.

It doesn't really mean anything your VL can up and down like a roller coaster. The good news is that starting treatment on a low VL is to your advantage.

Thank you for the quick response.  I've been waiting to hear back from the Dr office on it...but had my hopes up that maybe I was fighting it on my own...but didn't think that was possible with chronic hcv.  Thank you.

Just like your red and white blood counts go up and down, so do viral loads.
