VX-950 and Cirrhosis

by hopeful51, May 12, 2008 03:41PM
Maybe this has already been answered, but if you already have cirrhosis will you beable to treat with vx-950. I know there is more risk in treating with current antiviral drugs if you have Cirrhosis and am wondering if this will be additional risk.
My Doctor wants me to treat again for 72 weeks. First tx had large drop at 6 weeks and cleared by 24wks did not sustain by 6mo after tx .
I have decided to wait to treat till new drugs become available will be 59 by then.... heck just sa kid.....
