Vertex Stock is up 10% today

I too am watching Vertex, it is a good day for VX950.  Since we read here about NM283 and the folks who are having the virus mutate against it, it is even more important that Vertex approach with protease inhibitors works better than the polymerease inhibitor in NM283.  My new doc says he believes VX is the best hope there is and I grow to believe him more every day.

I'd love to buy some, but man, at $35.00 a share, it's a bit spendy.  There is talk on the Vertex board about pie-in-the sky stock prices when VX is finally approved, but there are so many companies with excellent meds for other diseases and they are priced accordingly.  So,  if Vertex went down to about $25.00, I'd grab it, because I KNOW it will go much higher.  But that is in a while from now.  But you know what, stock prices don't have much to do with good medicine, especially with all the research that still has to be done.  So I say a little prayer the meds will work and will dance a happy dance when Vertex goes up, more money for research.  

Maybe I will buy some someday and after I'm cured from VX950, I will use my millions to travel the world.  In fact, that is exactly what I'm going to do!

vertex was about $8.50 last year. wish i had bought then.
vx 950 will be worth around 8 billion if it works.
