So awesome Pam!  When you get done dancing, can you post your numbers at the beginning of your treatment?  I'm a non-responder here and breathlessly awaiting to hear all the good news!

There you go, Pam. Us lab rats are all looking good! I thought my und in 14 days was good, but 4 days is spectacular. I guess the starting VL is a major factor in the time to und. I started at 28,400,000 so it took a little longer to clear that crowd!

Just two or three more shots to go for you, right? Life is good for us Arm C VXers.

I'm envious!

Please keep us informed with how you are progressing.

I'm in Group B, which means I did get the vertex as opposed to placebo but unlike APL and PLN, I treat for 48 weeks as opposed to 24.  Haven't gotten my viral load "unblinding" results yet.

PLN - congratulations, wonderful news, you must be strolling on the ceiling...

PDS - I missed that you were in the trial. I hope you experience the same great news as PLN's. We'll be watching for you to post your PCR results. Good luck!

Have you talked to you local liver clinics about the Prove 3 trial for geno 1 non-responders & relapsers?? Might be something to look at for you.

My VX trial results were great, and Pam's are even better. WE will start to see more VL data now the the unblinding is licking in. There are maybe 10 subjects who post here.

Its highly likely that VX950 will always be part of a combo TX with Inf, and maybe with Inf + Riba. The Prove 2 trial in Europe is the 'standard' 750mg VX950 dose + Inf alone - no Riba. It will be interesting to see how those results compare with the Prove 1 study, given that no Riba seems to be the major difference in Prove 2.

Us lab rats in Group C are 24 weeks - 12 of VX + SOC, and 12 with SOC only. Looks like we are all UND so far, so it will be good to see if the 24 week tx produces a higher SVR rate than SOC. Its about time us heppers caught a break, right?

thanks for the goooood news. many of us pray that vx 950 is even half as good as it looks. if a geno 1 can treat for 24 weeks or maybe even 4 or 8 weeks with a much higher svr rate it will be a Godsend. we are all pulling for you, for both you and the millions who will be affected by this. i will get my 6 month post tx pcr test results tomorrow or fri. and it is nice to know if the buggers are still there i have a chance, as i will never tx on peg/riba again.

keep us in the loop.

Thanks for your comments.  It's awesome to know that I'm not in the placebo group although I strongly suspected it anyway.  I'm looking forward to getting my viral load results, which will be next week, but have to admit, I am a little jealous of APK and PLN because they have only 1 or shots left, respectively.

Good luck to you too.
