To answer your question, yes, that is the viral load we were talking about and yes, it would be considered a "high" viral load at over 12 million. try not to let that scare you too much, the viral load fluctuates. You could do another test for it and get a different reading, higher or lower.
The importance of the measurement is to be able to measure if the treatment is working, it is NOT a measure of your level of liver damage. You can have a low viral load and a lot of damage ( in my case this was true) or a high viral load and little or no liver damage. You will need a biopsy and some blood work done to determine the liver damage level.
