Viral load of 539,000?

Hi all,

The Kaiser docs are fast on the initial tests. Back in one day.  All liver enzymes normal save for GGT, and he said that one will run high for anyone who has had an alcohol/hepatitis history.  I have both.  My viral load is 539,000.  Not too bad, I'm guessing?  The doctor said nothing to indicate any bad stuff going on right now with my liver, so on to the GI in July.  I came back positive for B antibodies as well, so maybe I really did have B in 1985.  Happy weekend all, off to work for me ):

I agree with can do man.  Not a bad viral load.  I am a 1b and my starting vl was 5,300,000 and at 12 weeks was undetectable.  Good Luck to you and, as, can do said.  Don't work to hard.

My v/l was 34 million (yes, thats million) when I began tx last Sept - my 12 & 24 tests were UNDETECTABLE, just took my 36 test so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!  I'm a 1A on a daily shot of infergen & riba 800mg.  Your v/l sounds great!

I have a question.  My viral load was 308,000.   It was a t something test.  now the 308,000 does not sound high but when you times it by 5.2 it is 16 mil.  Isn't the 16 mil my true viral load or is it the 308,000?

Just a question.  How long was it from the time you think you were infected to the time you found out? Did you have any symptoms that led to you finding out?  I have been just recently diagnosed and waiting for a bx and trying not to get scared of the outcome.  I do know my viral number was 308,000 but you x that by 5.2 and it is 16m.
