Weight loss...dose reduction?

Okay, does anyone know the weight/dosing of interferon and ribavirin?  I was 145 when I started tx.  I'm at week 14 and now I'm 131.  I take 1000mg of riba and .4ml of the 120 pegintron pen.  I tried looking up the weight chart and it seemed like the cut off for this dose is 142Ib.  Could this be right?
Do you think my doc will lower my dose next time I come in?  Should I put lots of change in my pockets? I'm not being bothered by side effects right now, it would be a shame to lower...

Thanks you guys, I think I will put some change in my pocket for the apt.  My doc seems to be a go by the book kind of guy.  As far as the sides go, I'm finally feeling better.  I also think that I'm not that anemic anymore either.

unless your reactions to riba are extreme, I'd stay on what you are on. the riba is considered by many to be the more crucial drug, especially early in tx. As long as you don't have an anemic plunge and your kidney function and other CBC's are fine, I wouldn't even think dosage reduction, and especially not the first  6 months of tx...which is where you still are...I think??

I don't think your doctor will at this point you are in the way too early stages of tx for him to even think of it unless of other problems not mentioned. I fondly remember this as the clean out stage where anything and everything is stripped out because the body is adjusting to the meds. I am sure others will chime in on the specifics of your question. Hang in there your doing great!
