Weird herpes-type rash towards end of Tx

I have one more day on triple Tx, Sovaldi, interferon, ribavirin. There has been an itchy spot on my thumb recently, where I may have had a scar, if I scratch it, it turns into a herpes-type bumps, and as far as I know, I have never had herpes. Am going to follow up after Tx with dermatology, but was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. Hoping it just goes away when drugs in my system go away.

One more day, that is such good news, I am really happy for you.  I also think the bumps are from the tx however you probably want to keep an eye on it and show to your doctor at your next visit.
Congratulations! Dee

And actually the bumps go away if I don't mess with it, so maybe it is just the Riba. I will follow up with dermatology maybe 3 months post Tx, once the drugs are out of my system.

I am  still getting those bumps appearing and really itching if I wear my wedding ring. My meds for herpes mouth soars doesn't affect my finger at all. I think all these drugs we are on just bring out things that possibly just lay dormant without there help. With one day left, yeah, all the weird things will probably go away. You have done so well!
