What about Vitamin C

Is there any validity to the theory of taking massive amounts of Vitamin C to "cure" or at least lessen the effects of Hepatitis C? I've read some articles on it that seem to be from reputable researchers, but I don't see anything about it on this forum. Does anyone here have any experience or knowledge of it? Thanks.

LLoyd Wright would profoundly agree that massive amounts of Vitamin C "cure hepc."  He is quack, and nothing, absolutely nothing, cures chronic hepc except interferon and ribavirin therapy.  There is supporting evidence that high doses of vitamin C greatly diminished acute hepatitis in 2-4 days.  It does not mention which type of hepatitis.  Many supplements can help a person with hepc to perhaps feel better,  but they can't "cure" them.  Of couse, for all those who remember Mr. Chin, his alternative method for curing hepc supercedes all current treatment methods.  Mr. Chin must be exploring new worlds at this time, we haven't heard from him.  Shame.
