You can always ask another question in the thread you already started rather than start a new thread for every question. It make it easier to follow the day's threads. I have no answer for you but I know someone will. Mike

I wuld assume and talking to my support group and others the fatigue is horrific, sometimes hard to sleep..possible rashes from RIba etc.
From what I heard most of the time that would be the last thing on a persons mind that is treating. It could be diificult.
DONT WORRY YOU HAVE TO TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME .

Hi Jody,,,,I would have to say from my experience that it doesn't kill that part of your life but sure does slow it down.  I think basically because there is days that you just don't feel real great so naturally the sex drive is not up to par!

I had no problems with sex on Tx. My problem was finding someone to have it with ;)

Congratulations for composing the thread destined to be the 'most opened' of the day. Sure has a better ring than 'What About Death From Interferon'.  Back to your topic, in some things, I still have a level of interest.

Uhm...

OK - you GUYS --- close your eyes.. and don't read this.

I had to tell hubby --- "Just don't wake me up".

LMAO!

I was - and am still sleeping like 15 hours at a stretch some days. Other days I can't sleep at all.

So fatigue makes that the last thing on my mind... Just walking around the house is enough to make me crash hard.

But - when it happens, if it does... And I'm coherent... Uhm... It still all works. All the jollies and everything. Sometimes my mind strays and it's kind of hard to get in the mood.... However - it hasn't changed the basic equipment ---- at least not on this female. OH --- a bit heavier menstrual and LONGER - so I avoid those days --- but everything feels about the same...

SAME OLE
SAME OLE

Yanno... Married stuff. LOL!

If you and your partner are in the mood and have the energy you'll be all set.
Hubby and I treated together and we didnt have any problems, just days we were to tired ;-)

I don't think the fatigue alone is what slows us down. All kinds of things in our bodies act wacko. NYGirl said she didn't have her period for her entire tx. So , yes, I'd say it throws our hormones off but it comes back. And then there's those weird skin things that made me not want to be touched at all. However those things would come and go.

Ok what weird skin things? See this is all new to me i dont start treatments till the 20th of this month, so im trying to learn as much about all this as i can.

My husband was a saint during tx in this regard.  We basically took a 24 week hiatus from sex.  I just had no desire.  Sleep was far more important.  Everyone is different though, and I have heard of people who actually have QUITE a strong desire during tx.  Maybe you'll fall into that category!

I am a male and made a really big mistake one nite while drinking. i had a friend who i had known for years, we decided to have sex even tho she was on her menstral cycle. later i found out i was posative for hep c. All of my friends told me she was also positive for hep c . Is there any chance that that is how i got it. the doc told me that it was proably from the drug use years ago but i didnt want to mintion that i had had sex and oral sex  with some one who possably could have hep c. Can you get hep c that way ?
