The best advise is find a doctor that you feel good about. It is important to have a biopsy to determine the state of your liver, not painful. Some people who have very little damage are waiting for easier treatment.

I am going into my 12th week of tx, treating for 6 months. Has not been the nightmare I had thought it would be.

Good Luck to you.

I think most people here will advise you to get a biopsy to see the real state of your liver, which will then guide you in your decision to wait to treat or not.

I am sure someone who knows more than me will be along to shortly to add to this.
