What will be my SVR Date???

by alijee, May 12, 2009 10:28PM
Now im MY last shot (three shots in a week, saturday, monday, wednesday, non pegylated) was on wednesday, 11th March. But i took riba for an additional week and my last riba doze was on 20th march. I have two confusions:-

1).    Whether SVR is considered 24 weeks EOT or 6 months EOT???
2).    Whether My EOT will be considered from my last shot on 11th march or last riba doz on 20th March???

Yes 24 weeks after EOT.

EOT starts after your last riba.

Best of luck to you

i hv red that if a person gets 12 week EOT PCR are negative, he has 99 % chances of SVR? is it true??

so cant consider 24 week and 6 months the same thing.

if i measure according to 24 weeks EOT then my SVR date is 4th September 2009
if i measure according to 6 months EOT then my SVR date is 20th September 2009

So should i give blood to labz on 04.09.09 or 20.09.09??????????

Yes the odds are high for SVR if negative at week 12 of EOT.If i were you i would have one done at 12 weeks EOT. You don't have alot of liver damage and are a geno 2 or 3.....RIGHT???

So have one at 12 weeks and when your still negative celebrate. I would still have another one at 24 weeks if possible.

We can get a little obsessive in treatment.  I've heard of folks who never went back for the 6 month EOT PCR because they did not want to know.

The 24 week or 6 month PCR is just a general marker.  If you are clear one week before or after, it makes no difference.  Gone is gone and you won't change that by hitting a specific day.  Good luck; do the 12 wk. PCR just for a little encouragement to keep you going.
