Wish me luck

by ajw543, Mar 24, 2008 10:38AM
Hi all for those who still don’t know who I am, I am new to the group.  Just found out I am AHC with GT 1a and a VL of 265 and have decided to go ahead and treat while Acute.  But I also decided that I would call the Doctor and have him check my levels one last time before we start TX.  There is still a small chance that I could clear this on my own.  And since it could be up to a month before I get my meds I don’t see any harm in checking my VL again before we start.  I mean I know that there is only a 20% of clearing it on my own.  But I can hope for that.  So please all wish me luck that when we do my new labs I come back with a VL of 0.  I really don’t want to tx if I don’t have to.  The tx scares me to death

Maybe you will clear on your own. I hope you do. If not treatment would be  your only option. try and not to be scared to death as you say. It only makes a not so good situation worse. I wasnt scared to death I just didint know how I would get thru the long haul being Im a person of "no patience". But Im doing it..its worth a shot at getting well isnt it?

Try hard , talk to yourself and tell your self this sure beats the alternative of a failing liver..
Wish you all the luck.
You can do it.
