Worried about problems or Am I ok?.

I would like to know if you have HEP-C antibodies,I have been exspode to someone who the virus, are you at risk of getting full blown HEP-C.

Not sure what you are saying.  Are you saying that someone exposed you to HepC that had the antibodies?  Did not understand the antibodies part of your question.
As far as are you exposed....it depends on how.  Here is a great website with lots of information.

I started with a baseline VL of 2.5 million

Doc said all numbers came back in the "normal" range, including Alt of 19!!

I had to stop taking the zoloft,....whew!!! That stuff had me feeling like a character outta "One Flew over the Cuckoo Nest"
Not worth it, so instead doc prscribed some klonapin, to take the edge off. This works much better for me.
I might as well not work at all if I was gonna do the "thorazine shuffle" and since that isnt an option, I needed to get that **** outta me.

I am just trying to make it through the days.
Hubby only has 2 MORE SHOTS!!!! I am so jealous.

Welcome to the forum,

From what I understand is that those who carry the HCV anti - bodies was exposed to the virus and have cleared it on their own.  Check with your dr but I believe your one of the lucky ones that won't get the the virus. There are a hand full of people like you for what ever reason that can exspell the vius from their body.

Got back my 12 week PCR,...........

I am UNDETECTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now for those of you who are familiar with this disease, you know that doesnt mean I'm cured ,.....yet.

What this does mean is that the test that was administered was sensitive enough to detect plus 10 copies or more of the virus.
So the most I carry now is between 1-9 copies of the virus.

As some have already explained, having the antibodies doesn't mean you have chronic hep c.  It means that you were exposed to the virus at some point.

I would say that if you tested positive to hcv antibodies..You have HCV...Go get a PCR and that will answer your question..As far as full blown...this isnt AIDS...

Hello,  I have finally settled down somewhat to the shock of it all.  It took me about a month or so.  Between everyone here being so helpful and all the reading (some good and bad) I have learned alot. I imagine I have lots to go.  Won't have my bx until June 1st so I still don't know alot yet.

Since we are sharing grandbaby stories...Yesterday my 3yo granddaughter was taking a bath (for 2 hours!) in the big tub, I took a shower in the same bathroom. Hubby bought me a beautiful green quartz necklace for mother's day and Rene says to me in the shower, "are you getting my necklace wet?" Later on she had her pretty pink bear all dressed up and wanted to go swimming. She is a little fish! She said her bear was sick and had to put it to bed. I have had bad anemia sx. She brought the bear upstairs and put it in my spot in bed. So damn cute!

They say the darnest things! We are going to start a book of Reneisms, because she always amazes us. she used to say, "I can't like that." when she didn't want something. We were laying on park benches facing each other. Rene says, "isn't this just great?!"

I usually have them every other weekend, but I can't do as much playing around now and I feel guilty.  They are one of main thing that keeps me smiling through all of this and makes me want to clear this virus so I can be around for a long time and see them grow up.
