There is the new med Harvoni.

I cleared on my last treament which was clear at 26 weeks.

Iron----should be avoided because liver still need to process it and if liver damage is there they told me to simple take Men's 50+ vitiam just does not have iron.  I still eat spinach so I do avoid eating fruits veg with iron.

Hi, I am new here . I found this forum vey helpful and supportive too. I am glad we can find such this support . I am talking on behalf of my dad who has HCV and has been receiving a Sovaldi and Repavirin for 5 month now . My question is my dad tested Undetictable ( can't remember which week) but now the virus relapses . What is reason ? Is that normal? Can he go back Undetectable? Also, does food with iron  hurt the liver or not? Or he can eat normally food rich in iron. Also, my advice to you all,if you tested undetectable, please be careful not to use your old toothbrush or your razor again . Get rid of all of these stuf because it brings the virus back without knowing.
