Yea!! I can finally put a post up here!!

Hi. I've been wanting to post this a few days now.  I have the preliminary report back from my biopsy, don't have the actual report in my hands yet as the nurse was mailing it to me.  She told me the hi-lites of it.  It said that I was a "Grade 2, Stage 2" with moderate fibrosis, necrosis, etc.,some bridging started. No cancer or cirrhosis at this point. I guess all of my many treatments have done something. They've managed to slow the progression, even if I've never been undetected, even if it didn't reverse the fibrosis, even if I did progress-but not as much as I could have.  I'll probably be treating again. The next time will probably be a combo of Gamma Interferon, High dose daily Infergen and Riba.  For now, I'm just plugging along. I've been doing lots of walking and eating!  I needed to get my body built back up before I get ready to start back up again.  I'm planning on taking a class at the community college called Medical Terminology, just because I'm interested in the subject + want to do more w/my brain.  My husband (if you can call him that) is still driving me more nuts than nuts.  I think I've probably mentioned that we have a very, strange, unconventional relationship, certainly not of my choosing.  He lives with his mother 45 min. north of me + he always has, our whole marriage. (Not really much of a marriage.)  We've already been divorced once + remarried-I honestly don't know why I did this, but I did.  He really is treating me so badly, all of family + friends don't know why I put up w/it.  Susan 400  bystillwaters.net

I went to Culver Military Academy in Northern Indiana, on a lake. It was gorgeous there too...........serene and colorful.
Thanks for letting me know about the Dude. Louisiana does have problems with flooding, especially in the southern part. I'm near the Arkansas line, and 300 ft above sea level. No problems there!

Hey evryone, been so busy since the house flooded, hadn't been able to spend any time on here. The inspectors came today and found all the sheet rock walls will have to be replaced and they also cut a section of the wood floor out and found water trapped under the floor, so that means all the wood floors in 3 bedrooms, hall, and living room and closets will have to be ripped up and replaced with new oak flooring- my wife and I just spent 7 days cleaning up, and now we have to take "Everything out of the house by monday- that's when the contractors are going to start- they gave a rough estimate of $30,000.00 for everything- did not exactly say how long it will take, but I would guess 3-4 weeks- the bad part is I am going to have be off the internet all that time, because my pc is going with the rest of our belongings to storage- we will stay with my parents(which don't have the internet-"old fashion type" until the house is completed- After friday I'll have 1 shot left HALLELUJAH,HALLELUJAH,HALLELUJAH- Praise the LORD HALLELUJAH- (and I really mean that, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired- I'll be coming back in about a month- I just wanted to say It would have been a hell of alot harder to have made it through this twilight zone type of journey without you'll and this forum- You'll are the best(and I'm not BS)-I'll stay online till Sunday- then the old girl gets packed away for awhile- my wife and I started packing up stuff today after work- Well Guys and especially you Gals I'm sure going to miss you'll- but I'll be back hopefully in about a month- So Indy keep this group under control and Galen thank's, you really helped me in the beggining- still using the Nioxin- think I'm going to keep using it to, when I sit here and think I've been on here for almost a year, it really trips me out. And to my favorite Gal of them all Miss Chev, I'll really miss you(xxx), you lifted my spirits when I was pretty far down and made me feel good again- you keep these heppers motivated like you've been doing and everything will be fine- Love you'll all and thank's again for helping me through this Hep Nightmare - "What an Experience"- See ya'll in about a month(I hope)- You'll be good on here now- Harley Dude

I read with sadness your news. I am 52, genotype the same and biopsy about the same. I was also clear by 12 weeks and 24. My vl started much lower -141,000- but otherwise, we are in pretty much the same boat. I followed your posts esp the end of tx with joy.

While so many of us are in tx and taking comfort from getting through the day, going undetectable, etc., there is always the possiblity that it can come back, even after so much hard work and good news. Your quiet courage and calm in the face of this are inspiring, all the more so because as I near the end (I'm 30/48 and neither of my doctors intend to extend tx), I begin thinking about life after tx and what will happen and what will I do if I relapse. I don't know yet and I don't think I can know until I come to it, but I have your example (and others) (and the many others who have chosen to go through 2, 3 and more rounds) to guide me.

I wish you health and peace and finally, something that will kill the virus.

What a strength you have mustered to deal with this illness, repeat tx and a not so great relationship, and now a medical class. I would not even attempt anything that requires memorization during tx.
Where in the world do you get the  brain power?
Perhaps discarding the excess baggage and stress can help your immune system in eliminating the hep nuissance more effectively?
Tx is too hard on the body and mind and extra stress makes it almost unbearable, even when is good stress.
I wish you the best  in your next attempt.
