Marty -- Okay, thanks Marty :)
Pooh -- Wow. That's a lot. But whatever works to get you through. Nausea is no joke.
Aquisi -- Thanks. I will mention Phenegran next time I go to the doctor. And yes, the nausea did get worse for me once I added the VIC.
Working Dog -- Yeah, I actually asked for Zofran, based in part on your posts. Way cool you don't need it anymore.
For some reason, I am getting sick around the same time of day, on my way home. But I paid close attention this weekend, and still got sick at the same time, so I am not sure if the Zofran is not working for me or just needs a time adjustment or I need to up the dose. Your input here helps, so thank you again everyone.
Blessings everyone,
Bee
i loved that stuff! but i only took it when i felt real sick.or started gagging....it worked instantly! always kept lots of zofran on hand...i didn't need it once since i stopped tx...billy
I was prescribed 4 mg of zofran to take every 6 hours as needed, however that low dosage wasn't working for me so I asked to double up on it to two 4mg pills and I do them an hour before my RBA. I'm not even on Vic yet so I was thinking if it gets worst with Vic I'll change up to Phenergan as some people have said that it (nausea) may get worst after the start of the PI.

I take Zofran 8 mg every 8 hours. When I was on Incivek I took it about an hour before I was planning to eat and take my inc. Now that I am off Inc., I take it about an hour or hour and a half before my 8 am Riba, again late afternoon, and again about 9-10 pm. If I don't take it every 8 hours I am a lot more nauseated throughout the day and eve.
I usually take mine about a 1/2 hour before.
