a pain in the neck

i was wondering if anyone else has experienced a throbing pain in thier neck it started two days ago and it will not let up i have heard of the headaches i am assuming this is a side from the tx

I have had throbbing pain in my neck on and off, I also have pain in my legs, hips, lower back that is severe enough that I wake every night after 3-4 hours of sleep even though I am exhausted. I assumed it was TX since I never experienced it before, but who knows. I also have occasional twitching on my face and chest. That's just the short list! -Dave

thanks for responding i to just started tx 8 weeks ago this has been the worst side besides the hivies i have wish you good luck on clearing i will find out if i am to stay on tx in 4 weeks  thanks agains

i donot know what my viral load is to date it was 10060000 my doc will test my viral load at 12 weeks then he will know if i can stay on the tx for the duration

I have had the same throbbing pain in my neck and head.  I have determined that it is the shot of Pegasys that is giving me those feelings.  I took my 3rd shot last night..and so far I am side effect free this morning.  This is what I have learned to do which has helped me.  My first shot I did not know what to expect and I did nothing..the results were high fever, chills, throbbing headaches that lasted 1 1/2 days, and crying over stupid stuff...2nd shot...I decided to take a three tylenol before I took the shot late at night just before going to bed (in order to sleep through the side effects) I woke up the next morning with just a dull headache (at the base of my neck) most of the day...move ahead to last night..3rd shot..I took four Ibuprofen before taking my shot and going to bed...I woke up at 4a.m. this morning and took two more Ibuprofen...so far no headaches or other symptoms.  This works.  Just take something before you get symptoms as a preventative measure and you should be fine.

thank you for the advice i figured that out last night and took ibuprofen and put a heat  pack on my neck went to bed had a good nights sleep thank you for your response
