I haven't personally, but I was warned pre-tx that it was a possibility from the Ribavirin and it could get pretty miserable. Have they suggested any meds to help lessen the rash and itching like Benadryl or Hydroxyzine or OTC topical lotions, creams?

I had intense itching pre-tx and the scars are still there on my arms and lower legs. It was unbearable at times and I feel for what your going through.......Pam

Did you discuss the rash with your treatment doc/nurse?  My husband's skin was so broke out, raw and bleeding, the 2nd month of treatment his hep doc took one look and prescribed him Atarax, and it's been working great.  Topically, hydrocortisone helped as well.

Hopefully it's not too serious and can be resolved.
Best wishes,

I had a one solid thick rash everywhere except my face & hands for a few months.  It went away but the itching on my back and chest is still DRIVING ME CRAZEEEEEEEEE at times.  Heck, I told my dr. and he said oh that's just a sx.

I need to try the Atarax.

I to had a reaction and had to stop the Ribavirin  I was so bad that they wanted to do a blood transfusion.   We waited a few more days while clearing with insurance and I started clearing up.  I took cortisone  shots to help.  My skin now as scares from the damage the reaction causes.  I have tried the hydrocortisone cream and it helped but took a long time.   I am still having to  use the creams to help.

Usually people don't quit treatement because of rashes etc.. , there are many ways to deal with those problems eventhough it can be difficult, but it is very worthwhile to do every effort to continue the treatement. Could you provide more details about the problem  ? how difficult it is ? what the derm diagnosed ? what the hepa doc said about that ? I have had severe skin problems during treatement, the people in this forum adviced me not to quit and I am grateful for that.  Please provide more data.
Be stong, it worhts.
