alpha-amylase inhibitors

by merryBe, Oct 29, 2009 02:01PM
I've been trying to get to the roots of inflammation and found out some interesting things about alpha-amylase inhibitors.

These are helpful in NASH, for diebetics, for liver patients trying to reduce oxidative stress.

Irvingia is a natural source on Life extentsion's site.

I'm wondering if anyone is using it, or if not what you are using.

My thought was that perhaps this approach might be better than say capsasisn for instance, which does help inflammation but is also an irritant to the intestines and might exascerbate leaky gut or diverticulitis etc.

thoughts anyone?
