altercation

Ok so I was doing dishes after a family dinner , when i reached into to the dishwater and nicked my finger on a knife . there wasn't any blood till i got to the bathroom for a bandaid, but by that time there was an issue about infecting the dishes in the dishwater which brought forth the altercation . Now i have had Hep since 2009 and have consider myself well educated  on the subject ,but as the altercation became louder and i argued the my facts and now i am wondering if I had indeed endangered my family thinking I knew what i was doing. So my question is if any of my blood got into the dishwater would or could that water infect the dishes that were in it?
