How to keep ammonia levels down? Or how to lower them? Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

Glutamine is crucial in nitrogen metabolism.  Ammonia is formed by nitogen fixation.  My friend Claire was given high doses of Glutamine while on Chemotherapy. I thought this interesting when she was telling me about her treatment.  Even though Glutamine is known to have cleansing effects it is unknown to what extent because of no hard clinical data.

Lactulose will help rid your intestines of ammonia.  Take enough to have 2-3 bowel movements daily, adjust accordingly. It will give you diarrhea but that's how it works.

Wouldn't less have a partial ammonia cleansing affect w/o the Hershey Squirts? I was told by young blood that you need to get into dump-o-rama mode for it to work - but I'm thinking you ought to be able to get partial affect without leaving a trail.

You DO crack me up! I started on Lactulose in Bangkok thanks to my 'wire road', doc. Wonderboy didn't think I needed to check my ammonia anymore.. But he does like us to be happy, so maybe he was trying to appeal to your, unique humor.
