amoxillin 2000mgs

I am going to have some dental work done and because I have aorta stenosis[mild] the Doctor prescribed the antibiotics. What is this going to do to the hepatitis C ? I do not have any symptoms.
All my liver panels are normal after 17 years. Is there any other alternative open. Thank you.

Going on an antibiotic for the short term will have no impact on your liver disease.

Take the 2000 mg as directed, all at once, 1 hour before the precedure. Those are the recommendations of the American Heart Association.
Amoxicillin is a "gentler" kind of antibiotic, and well tolerated.
It will do NO harm to your liver.....don't even think of not taking it......I take it not only for dental procedures, but for any procedure that penetrates the skin.

I checked the AHA site only to find they do not recommend taking any type of antibiotics for my type of situation./aortic stenosis/mild/. Going to take them anyway...
