another procrit shot tonight

Can I give it to myself in my butt?   It hurts in the stomach.

The opening phrase of your first message could be open to misinterpretation!!!
Can't think why a subcutaneous delivery of Procrit could not be given in the thigh for example.
I wouldn't inject where I can't see what I'm doing.
For a definitive answer call the manufacturers and ask for 'medical information'.

You can subcutaneous inject the procrit in the hip area just below the wast line on either side in the fatty tissue. Would not inject in the buttox by yourself for this may need a steady hand and a clear view of the site area. The thigh might be a better place to inject because of the pinch factor and would prove to be more difficult to do in the buttox area.

Since it is supposed to be given subcutaneous. So you could do it in your stomach, thigh, butt or arm, as with the Peg.  I agree that it might be a bit difficult if you have to give it in the butt yourself. So the thigh does make more sense.

thanks guys!  My boyfriend is actually giving it to me, so he can give it pretty much anywhere.  My tummy is just worn out from shots, I think.  And my thighs are kinda bony.  Got lots more on my behind, so I think we will go there!
