arthritic pain

by mac588, Jun 28, 2009 08:12PM
i am in week13 of treatment and for the past few i've had what seems to be arthritic pain in my lower back, legs and feet. this leaves me with a limp when it happens.  i have heard that my ferratin levels being out of whack can cause this. i would really like some info on this  because it is a scary feeling and making think twice about my treatment along with all the other side effects i am dealing with.

I had all of the above and that leg pain drove me mad.  Sometimes taking Tylenol did help with the leg muscle cramps, others it didn't.  It didn't matter if I were walking or sitting the legs hurt.

My back was not so bad as the legs and feet.  The bottom of my feet hurt but I noticed when I wore thicker sole shoes it did help.

All of this didn't go on long, just for a few weeks ( every day ) and then went away, but did return occasionally.  Good days, bad days.

Hope you get some relief soon.

This is going to sound crazy to you but I too felt all those aches and pains, it wasn't until I took the advice of some other heppers to drink plenty of water!!!!  So I can't stress it enough, drink plenty of water and the joint aches, the bottom of your feet if they ache like mine did, all that will dimenish!!  Seriously, don't knock it until you try it.  Good luck!  We drink water until it's coming out of us 4/5 times during the night!!

I have Hep C and Psoriatic Arthritis and I've found that treatment for one always causes bigger problems in the other. Unfortunaley the TX aggrivates any type of arthritis it seems and visa versa. Rock ME Hardplace...... The water really does help though, best of luck. I guess it is really a quality of life issue, which is worse ya know? I've decided that since I've tried Interferon three times and had very minimal success I am focusing more on the Arthritis now.
