arthritis on hands

Hello,
I am seeing that the problems are varied ,with a tx,but what I am experiencing is very ugly!!
My hands seem to be deformed!
I am on a three year low dose (0,5) of interferon,without ribavirin,and it seems to be worsening!
It does not hurt,but my doctor does not think important!
Is anyone experiencing the same problem?

Hey there little zoe!!!!  I know exactly how that feels. I had all kinds of little things like that on tx.  It cracked me up! Its not you, ya hands arent really changing it is the meds - things can look distoreted so I just took it all as hilarious stuff.   Keep yakkin at us, we will let you know what is ‘realy’ goin on!!!!.  Keep doin Tx  - as much dosage as they tell you.  I skiped a few and failed... but feel good when I can help people out with this stuff. It's nice to konw I can give a laugh.  Laughter really does help eliminate the depression....  hahahahahaha That always worked for me.... your hands will look ‘normal’ when ‘you’ are... hang in there... I will put you on my church prayer list - it might be some mental stuff or depression.   n.s.

Thank you for your comments,and the kindness of your answers.I must confess that I don't succeed  to laugh at that,because my hands are looking very ugly,with the fingers distorted!
Will they comme back to be right again??

last summer we were having a riot in a particular thread that was so memorable, I had to save it for posterity.  i never thought it would come in handy for something else!

Those little knuckles up there by your fingernails and then those middle knuckles -- ALL the knuckles on your hands.
I don't know if this is hallucination or hormonal or WHAT -- but my knuckles look bigger. Do yours?
STOP LAUGHING!!! (okay, you can laugh a little bit, but seriously -- are your knuckles swelling -- I am NOT talking about water gain -- I am talking about bones. (My bones around my knees look bigger too.)
Just wondering.. if this is imaginary or does anyone else have this too?

(08-Jun-04) Chevy LOL Sorry,,,I promised I wouldn't laugh but,,,,do you remember "the fly sisters" Well I kept telling you guys we were transforming into something,,,haha What I didn't know.. Seriously on knuckles,,,Yeesssss,,,I had lost some weight so my rings were loose awhile back but now I can't get them over my knuckles!!! I was just telling my husband last week,,,my knuckles are getting bigger for some reason haha And of course,,,so glad you said it because I hated to be griping over every body, mental change but,,,will that settle down??? Now,,,knees I haven't noticed so not sure on that. We need DallasStar to come and help us out here and tell us if she went through this and came back to normal haha Any ideas...anyone? "

i did not hear any other morphing issues, so 'I guess it did not progress to a quasimoto state.  relax, and do try to laugh!
